RSDKF Range
The RSDKF Range
RENNER screw compressors on horizontal air receiver with refrigeration air dryer and frequency control
The RSDKF range is fitted as standard with the intelligent RENNERtronic control and monitoring system. This optimizes economy of operation and guarantees the necessary safety and reliability in terms of maintaining and servicing the units. They are compatible with higher-level compressed air management systems.
The RSDKF model is a self-contained compressed air station. No additional outlay required to fit frequency converter, refrigeration dryer and air vessel. Simply plug in and connect to the pressure system and your RENNER compressor will be a reliable and economic source of compressed air.
Standard air receiver sizes: RSDKF 4 – 1-11.0: 250 liter, RSDKF 11.0 – 15.0:500 liter
The compressed air vessels are sized for standard operating conditions. Other receiver sizes available on request.
RENNER Refrigeration Dryer
The compressed air is delivered to the refrigeration air dryer for conditioning and pre-cooling in the air-to-air heat exchanger.
This pre-cooling process takes place counter-current to the outgoing cool treated air. No additional energy is required for this. The air is cooled further still to the pressure dew point in the refrigerant-to-air heat exchanger which is cooled by a refrigerant circuit.
Throughout the cooling process, moisture in the form of condensate is precipitated out and automatically discharged from the system. Before it is emitted, the conditioned compressed air is reheated in the air-to-air heat exchanger by the incoming hot compressed air. RENNER refrigeration dryers are environmentally sound and run on the ozone-friendly refrigerant R134a.
– Serial energy-efficient mode (available from RS18.5)
– With electronic condensate trap (optional)
Advantages of RSF – Energy save package
- No compression higher than necessary (1 bar higher compression = approx. 8 % higher energy costs).
- No idle running phases, i.e. no unnecessary power consumption.
- Softstart eliminates peak start-up current.
- Adjusts automatically to air demand – no loss of energy.
- Minimized load on mechanical parts = lower maintenance costs and longer service life.
- Cost-effective maintenance and long service life
Why Frequency Control ?
- Energy saving
- Low-fatigue
- Pressure optimization
- Reduction of discharge losses
- Lower power consumption leads to reduction in CO2 emissions.
